Top 5 Games, October 2025

October brought some interesting new Games! Number one is definitely Jurassic World Evolution while Bloodlines 2 has some very mixed player feedback. What do you think?

More Information

Coming to PC on October 21, this latest park-builder from the dinos is packing more claws and growth than ever. You’re not just letting T. rex roam anymore—you’re managing babies, sexes (male and female dinos), and even sharing parks with other players.
If you loved the previous entries, this one gives you modular terrain, exhibit sharing, and a campaign across locations like Japan and Hawaii. It’s ambitious.
Great for you if you enjoy sandbox creation with structure; may feel a bit heavy if you just want a quick session.

2. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

More Information

Dropping on October 21 for PC, this one resurrects the cult RPG sequel after many years. You play an awakened elder vampire in modern-day Seattle, navigating vampire politics, choosing a clan, and dealing with the Masquerade. Expect heavy narrative weight, dark atmosphere, and less of the sprawling open-world of some other RPGs. If you’re craving story and weird vampire politics, it’s a strong pick. If you prefer open-ended systems, slightly lower your expectations.

3. PowerWash Simulator

More Information

Releasing on October 23 for PC, this is the soothing sim sequel that says: grab your hose, take a deep breath, and clean something filthy. It retains the chill of the original but adds new tools and a bigger setting.
If you ever thought “man, I just want to press a trigger and make grime disappear”, this is for you. For more hardcore gamers looking for intensity, this may feel insanely relaxed — and that’s the point.

4. Once Upon a Katamari

More Information

On October 24 PC release, this is the quirky, colourful return of the Katamari series. Roll a sticky ball through history (Ice Age, ancient Japan, you name it) to restore the stars.
If you love whimsical games, weird humour, and just rolling things up (cats are cheering this one on), this is a fun palate-cleanser. If you’re after serious drama or realism… well, let the Prince roll.

5. The Outer Worlds 2

More Information

Scheduled for release on October 29 for PC, this sequel from Obsidian Entertainment dives back into sci-fi RPG territory. You play as an Earth Directorate agent investigating rifts on an alien colony in the Arcadia star system.
Heavy on choices, companions, humour and weird alien politics. If you appreciate RPGs with character, world-building and some cheek, this should be high on the list. If you dislike branching narratives or long sessions, this might demand more time than you have.
