Invented by Chinese game developer Miniwan Technology, Mini World isn’t just a game. It is a platform that brings to life whatever world you wish to have on it. The 3D game provides the ability to explore adventures while building your world from scratch, and it is free to play anywhere you are, at any time that you like. 

What makes Mini World a fun choice is the provision of a multiplayer option that allows you to connect with friends all over the world, form alliances that will help you build — or destroy — your world faster. However, this game does not give hierarchy points as to which player has the most levels or “scores” to their name. This sandbox game, however extensive, is based on building up the world that you choose.

Although formerly available to be played on just Android devices, The newly updated version of the Mini World simulated game is available for Android and iOS devices with better graphics and many more improved features.  

Build Your World From Scratch

There is no obvious storyline that accompanies this game. Mini World, inspired by Minecraft, a game that has been popular for years, is a sandbox game that provides players with full reins of their characters. The world is at your fingertips, and you are tasked with the objectives of building your world from scratch, using tools that are also made from scratch or provided from the very beginning while enjoying every inch of your alternate world. 

Mini World does not allow players to level up in-game. Instead, you are provided with two different play options: Survival mode and Creation mode. Just as the name implies, the survival mode is based on the player’s ability to survive on limited resources. In Survival mode, the primary objective is to survive long enough to be able to challenge monsters, either alone or as a team with friends in multiplayer mode.

Before starting the survival mode, players are required to have built their own survival map. Building a survival map requires using a specific code made of a string of letters and number characters. These codes are known as map codes, and they help to generate the various terrain and landscapes. 

In Survival mode, players are provided with character-specific starter kits to help them through the game. They are character-specific because if players choose to use a different character, their kit contents will change. In this mode, things like time, hunger, oxygen, and health are important in determining how long a character will last. Some examples of characters found in survival mode include the famous Chief, Kaka, Nini, and Captain Tom.

In Creation mode, players are provided with all necessary “blocks” or resources needed to build their world. With no limited time like in survival mode, the creation mode allows players to enjoy every minute of their very own mini-world.

Nature of Missions

There are no specific missions in Mini World. There are no levels, no restrictions, no conditions, but just full freedom for whatever world the player chooses to create. The only mission available is the extent to which players are willing to build their world. Players can build their world by placing or taking away blocks however they want. 

How to Play Mini World

Mini World is available in single-play mode offline, without an internet connection. Players can only access multiplayer modes with the use of a working internet connection. The basic gameplay provides you with tons of cute game characters and terrains to choose from. It doesn’t matter if you want to build a castle, city, or even explore the underworld. This sandbox game allows you to express yourself in any way that you deem fit. If you feel like you want to tinker up with new inventions, you can go right ahead. The world is yours. The multiplayer option has also made it easy to explore with friends.

Controlling your character is easy and intuitive. To view every element in your world, slide a finger over the screen to look around. Tapping the virtual controller arrows will allow players to move characters in whichever direction they require. To interact with objects in your world, tap and hold the item. What’s better, items in your world can be reused and recycled. This is possible by accessing your inventory. Although the quick access bar only stores up to 8 items, players are provided with a backpack as an alternative means of storage. The game provides a variety of mini-games that come in various genres like puzzles, strategy, FPS, and even Parkour.

The Best Of Mini World

Although first considered to be a spin-off of the Minecraft game and drawing initial hostility, Mini World has now become a fan favorite. You can create plugins, games, maps, and even creatures, providing a fascinating and adventurous sphere.

Mini World is easy to play, creative, interactive, and provides the freedom gamers crave. I was impressed with excellent graphics and thoroughly enjoyed the abundance of content to tour as well as the mini-games to spice it up. I was also thrilled to find that the gaming community is active and provides tons of competitions and events to participate in. Thanks to its multiplayer feature, I could meet and connect with friends, making it even more fun.

All Games Have Their Flaws

Like every other game out there, Mini World is not without its flaws. When played on a PC, I noticed that the game functions and features are better than when played on a mobile phone. On mobiles, various annoying glitches and bugs reduced gaming quality, making the games crash without warning and ultimately discouraging me from fully enjoying the game.

Mini World is an addictive game that helps users to hone their imagination. Although at first, it might look like you are playing Minecraft all over again, Mini World is a much more advanced game.  With this game, even the sky is not your limit.
