If you’re a fan of the Final Fantasy series, you’ll want to check out the latest spin-off game, Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier. FF7 was my favorite mobile game in 2021, as it ticked all my boxes for a great RPG, Rattle Royal. The game is played in a third-person shooter format, with different game modes.

Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier was published by Ateam Square Enix and developed by Square Enix in November 2021. The multiplayer game is available on Android and iOS platforms and is compatible with most mobile devices. The story is laid out in seasons, with each part building more anticipation for the next season. Thankfully, it’s always worth the wait.

Square Enix Takes Us Back to the Beginning

The storyline takes place many years before the events in Final Fantasy VII. The game is set in the fictional world of Midgar. The main story takes place in the middle continent, divided into several regions: the slums of Midgar, the rural areas outside Midgar, and the wilderness beyond.

The First Soldier focuses on the SOLDIER program – an elite group of genetically enhanced soldiers who serve as the city’s protectors. As a recruit, you’ll need to learn the ropes quickly if you want to survive in this cutthroat environment.

A Game of Action and Well-Laid Strategies

Like all other FF series games, Final Fantasy 7 requires players to create a strategy. Before beginning the game. You must take some time to think about what kind of fighter you want to be. The game has some main fighting classes: warrior, ninja, monk, gunner, and sorcerer. Each style has its strengths and weaknesses, so it’s left to you to choose the one that best suits your play style.

Second, you must level up your characters to progress in the game. To do this, you need to earn experience points by defeating enemies. The amount of experience points you earn is determined by the difficulty setting you to choose. So if you want to level up quickly, you should choose a higher difficulty setting. Third, you need to equip your characters with the best gear. You can find equipment by looting chests, defeating enemies, and completing quests. The quality of the gear you find also depends on the difficulty setting you choose.

Analyzing the Strengths of the Fighters

If you’ve played earlier games in the series, you’ll be glad to know that Square Enix Brought Back Your favorite characters in an epic manner. They are younger, more brutal, and have twice the energy and wits. It’s a good thing you could play different characters until you find the perfect match.

The Warrior is Perfect for Close Combat

If you love wielding the sword or performing close combat, the warrior character might be best for you. They are close-range fighters who rely on their swords and skills to defeat their enemies. They have high physical damage but low magical damage. It’s easiest for this class to get closer to the enemies because of their fighting style. The character usually creates a barrier during combat, which is an added advantage because it makes it difficult to get to your fighters. The warrior is also skilled with the melee fighting style, which is great because it helps them to gain hit points each time they attack with their hands and feet.

The Gunner Handle All Kinds of Assault Rifles

Gunners are ranged fighters who rely on guns to defeat their enemies. They have high magical damage but low physical damage. If you prefer to stalk your enemies from a distance, you should consider using these fighters.

Sorcerers Destroy Enemies Using All Kinds of Materia

Sorcerers are spellcasters who rely on magic to defeat their enemies. They have low magical damage but high physical damage. These sorcerers are relatively good with close-range and distant combats. They make use of and manipulate a variety of materia to defeat their enemies during battle. You must upgrade their weapons to make them stronger for more brutal battles. The upgrade usually heightens materia damage and recovery rate for your character. My favorite feature of sorcerers is that they deal with critical hits as easily as they inflict great harm on their victims.

Ninjas Don’t Miss out on Big Fights

Ninjas are pretty sneaky and adept at maneuvering their way through tight spots. I love using the ninja because of their double-jump and stealth skills. They are also great at hiding and attacking enemies when they least expect it. They easily get in and out of combat, reducing the hit frequency.

The Gentle, Yet Ferocious Fighter Monk

The monk character in final fantasy 7 is quite an exciting fighter whose primary fighting style is the melee ATTACK. With FF7, the fight becomes more interesting when the monk’s health is down to 20%. Their attacks will become more critical. Monks are very good at protecting themselves from enemies.

The Major Characters Have Their Stories and History

The protagonist is Cloud Strife, a recruit at the mega-corporation Shinra Electric Power Company, who, among 70 applicants, is ready to compete to become The First Soldier. The game also features other important characters such as Aerith Gainsborough, a young girl who holds the key to saving Midgar; Tifa Lockhart, Cloud’s childhood friend; and Sephiroth, Cloud’s former superior in SOLDIER, who turns into the game’s main antagonist after being consumed by jealousy and lust for power.

Leveling up Your Characters

Leveling up your characters is one of the most essential aspects of Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier. There are a few different ways to do this, but the most effective is by taking on side quests and challenges. By completing these optional objectives, you’ll earn valuable experience points and unlock new abilities and items that can give you an edge in battle.

One of the best places to level up your characters is the Sector 5 slums. Here you’ll find several side quests and challenges to take on and plenty of enemies for fighting. My favorite spot for leveling up is in the sewers beneath Midgar City, where you’ll find even more formidable enemies to defeat.

Getting the Best Equipment

Another essential aspect of Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier is ensuring your characters have the best equipment possible. Sourcing equipment means finding and upgrading weapons and armor and equipping accessories that can provide various benefits.

There are many ways to get new equipment in the game. One is by simply purchasing it from shops, though you’ll often find better gear by completing side quests and challenges. Another way to get new equipment is by defeating powerful enemies, who sometimes drop rare and powerful items. Finally, you can also create new equipment using materials from around the game’s world.

Conclusion

If you’re a fan of the Final Fantasy franchise or just looking for a good battle royale game to play, you should check out Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier. It’s a great game with plenty of depth and strategy. You can’t run out of exciting activities in the game, which makes it the perfect multiplayer game that could keep you glued to your phone screen.
