BiteFight is a free-to-play browser game developed by Gameforge. It rightfully falls under the MMORPG genre, pitting you against thousands of players in extreme contest. BiteFight is a horror-themed game where werewolves and vampires battle for the crown. 

The game is essentially Player vs. Player combats, and your victory depends on your character’s statistics. While you go around the mythical world hunting down enemies, you have to collect items to build your skills profile. How strong you are offensively and defensively depends largely on the items you collect.

Overall, BiteFight is the right blend of PvP content and items collection. The everlasting bad blood between Vampires and Werewolves set the tone for this thrilling gameplay. With thousands of players, BiteFight gives you real-time combat experience. Knowing you’re not competing with some NPCs, but real players set out for victory, adds to the adrenaline rush. 

A Story Plagued By Darkness and Blood

The world is beclouded in darkness set in by the feud between vampires and werewolves. It’s all about who dominates the world, and neither race is ready to take the vanquish position. Now, they go about looking for their enemies to hunt. You jump into the chaos, pick a side, and hunt down members of the other faction.

In BiteFight, there’s no good guy. You’re the sinister force that runs in the dark and sends shivers down the spine of humans. The only forces that stand up to you are dangerous, mysterious creatures ready to break your wings. The question is whether you’re prepared to show why you’re the king of the dark.

You have no ultimate goal of building a kingdom, but you can become the most powerful vampire/werewolf in the world. Your duty is ensuring your character is in optimum shape, with the necessary weapons and armors to hunt your enemies. Join a clan and spread terror across the land with a group of equally-ferocious players. Build the reputation of your clan and stamp your domination. 

Getting Started 

If you grew up watching Vampire movies, you sure know what a Vampire craze is all about. You know they are fast, strong, and immortal. Then you have their equally-strong, but mortal enemies, Werewolves. BiteFight is simply a contest between those mythical characters.

The first big choice you have to make is where to pitch your tent: Vampire or Werewolf. It wasn’t hard for me to choose because I’ve always had some affinity for vampires. There’s something more compelling about courage and strength than breaking bones when its full moon. Enough of dabbling into personal fluid preferences!

After choosing a race, you get a customizable avatar. Now, if you expect to see the typical suave-looking vampire, you’d be disappointed. But the disappointment is commendable, as it offers something different from the popular stereotype. Players can change the gender of their avatar and alter their appearance.

There’s a ‘Hideout’ that serves as your home, amongst other things. It also serves as a storeroom for your gold and a fortress against attack from the enemies. The game is easy to navigate, with a user-friendly interface. Having played many MMORPG that got me clicking on a thousand tabs to get to the next step, Bite Fight is a refreshing breath of simplicity.

Fair But Deadly PvP Gameplay

The gameplay is replete with one-on-one fights with the opposite race, which lasts a few rounds. Hunting werewolves can quickly become tiring, but Bite Fight doesn’t leave you helpless. There are numerous humans and demons to deal a sharp bite from your bloodthirsty fangs. You can also Challenge other players for bonuses and respect. From harmless humans to blood-sucking demons, there are plenty of creatures to prey on, and prey you will.

While you go about hunting for enemies, it’s essential to keep your eyes on your character’s features – defense, offense, strength, health, and charisma. There are plenty of items scattered around the mythical world to collect. These items build your skill profile and put you in a vantage position to win the game.

The ‘city’ is the center of all activities you perform throughout the game. It leads you to different parts of the world to find enemies for a duel. There’s also a marketplace where you can shop for a variety of items. You can purchase weaponry and fortifications to enhance your performance during duels. The more money you’re willing to spend, the more likelihood of success. 

You can also take a break from hunting the enemies by exploring the mines for Hellstone crystals. When you begin, you’re allotted some gold to build your statistics. You can replenish its supply by working in the graveyard that pays gold per hour. Working in the graveyard is a good way to gather experience, which, in turn, leads to level upgrades.

Gold isn’t the only thing to hunt for. Join other clans or create yours, and compete against other clans for the country’s leadership. In BiteFight, Player vs. Player fights is common. Fight with other players to climb the leaderboards and become the most infamous vampire or werewolf in the universe.

It’s Evil versus Evil – No Good Here

While BiteFight is one of the many evil vs. evil games out there, it stands distinctively from the crowd. There are limited race options, but the popular culture around vampires and werewolves is enough to sustain it. You either step into the shoes of a graceful vampire or wear the ferocious claws of a werewolf. The race you choose may not be as important as the skillset you put into hunting down enemies.

Yes, the game’s premise is not new. Yet, the excitement only continues to grow as you grow your profile and defeat more members of the opposing faction.
