Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is a thrilling dark fantasy 2D RPG developed by Live Wire and Adglobe and Published by Binary Haze Interactive. Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is available to be played on several platforms. It was first released for Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows on June 21, 2021, days before its June 29 release on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The latest release came on July 20 for PlayStation 4.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights tells the story of a character named Lily. Lily is the last surviving member of a now-extinct guild of priestesses. Thanks to an enchanted oppressive rain washing over the land, Lily’s world has descended into chaos and ruin and is the last surviving White Priestess. It has become her duty to rid the world of the curse that burdens it. 

Players journey through the destroyed world, exploring expansive and beautiful locations while helping Lily regain her lost memories, defeat powerful enemies, and restore order. Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights takes you to stunning places, including a breathtaking grand castle, a secluded contaminated underground cavern, and a submerged forest. With the help of powerful knights she summoned as the spirits of purified undead, Lily can overcome daunting challenges and discover the truth.

Gameplay 

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is a platform-adventure video game that uses 2-dimensional side-scrolling gameplay. Players take control of their character, Lily, from a second-person point of view. Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights combines combat, puzzle-solving, and item collecting across her destroyed kingdom.

Despite being heavy on combat, Lily does not wield any weapons herself. Instead, she has the ability to purify spirits of long-deceased knights to come to her aid and protect her when necessary. The first spirit Lily uses her powers to purify and raise from the dead is the spirit of a swordsman who has the ability to deliver swift, deadly and precise sword slashes even in the smallest field at enemies both above Lily and below her.

Other purified and resurrected spirits include the Guardian, Siegrid, a vicious and highly skilled fighter who guarded the sept to protect Lily, a mean-looking giant who wields a mighty battle club named Gerrod, a gifted sorceress named Eleine, and a ruthless knight named Captain Julius. 

As you carry on in your journey, enemies and bosses come at you from all corners. With the help of your spirit fighters, you can defeat them all. The more enemies you defeat, the more player experience points you will earn. The combat you are engaged in at a given time allows you to equip three different spirits to fight with their unique abilities and skills. 

Evil Can’t Live In The Land.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights begins when a small girl dressed in white wakes up on a pedestal in a parish that is falling about. This small girl lily awakens with no memory of who she is and how she got to the parish. A mysterious disembodied voice tells her that she is the last surviving priestess in a kingdom that has been destroyed by a magical phenomenon known as the blight. 

The blight is heavy cursed rain that washes over the devastated region of Land’s End. This cursed rain has infested the inhabitants of the area, turning them into deformed creatures. Those who still have a little bit of their humanity find themselves mourning their misfortune and hoping for a savior. The villages have been abandoned and are falling apart as the land is overrun with witches, worms, and many other hostile things that go bump in the night. 

Heal The Land!

As the disembodied voice revealed to Lily, her sole purpose is to step into her power as the White Priestess. This means that only she can perform the rite of Purification, and as such, she can purify the souls of blight-corrupted people who have passed. This power makes up for her inability to fight for herself as she can call upon the spirits of legendary knights to fight and protect her. This host of immortal knights gives players a vast and impressive array of skills that can combine to create unique fighting combos.

Battles And Adventure You Can’t Resist

Swords, magic, and the power of resurrection combine with the unique abilities of over two dozen immortal spirits to maneuver the challenges of Land’s End and eradicate the blight. There are tons of upgrades that you may find scattered throughout the beautifully haunted world of Land’s End. Some of these upgrades require blights to enhance their skills and make them more potent.

The Umbral Knight, one of the purified spirits, helms the main attack skill used to defend Lily. The skill uses rare materials known as ancient souls to attack opponents. Your character’s health points can also be boosted when you use special tokens known as Amulet fragments.

Prayers are a feature used to restore your health, but you can only use the power three times before you need to rest.
