Escape Prison was released in September 2016 and is available to be played on iOS and Android 4.0 devices and higher. Escape Prison chronicles the adventures of a prisoner who is trying to break out of prison.

Gameplay

In Escape Prison, your character is a prisoner who is kept under strict surveillance at all times. There are jail guards surrounding you and your cell, and the prison is very much uncharted territory. Despite These circumstances surrounding your imprisonment, there is still a chance for you to escape. In your cell, you will find many objects and tools that can help you make your jailbreak. 

Escape prison is a classic room escape puzzle game. With every exit blocked by either guards or computer systems, your only hope is in solving the riddles presented to you. They are codes and passwords scattered around the jail and objects and tools that you need to find and use. You can try using the codes and passwords that you find scattered across the premises to unlock computers as well as unlock bars and doors.

Your character navigates Escape Prison by clicking around on objects in his surroundings until he finds those that will be useful to his cause. You can move around with the use of arrows, pausing to click on locks and doors to unlock them.

Outsmart Your Way To Freedom

Your escape journey started long before you even entered prison. Your character Sam is a young journalist who was actively investigating a serious corruption case. It seems he has angered the wrong people when he comes back from his investigations and finds his girlfriend dead one day. She has been murdered by a mysterious person who intends to frame him for the crime. 

However, they do not believe him when the police get there, and he is taken to court. The presiding judge also does not believe what he has to say and hands him a life imprisonment sentence. Sam is certain that someone wanted to set him up and is now determined to find a way to escape. Once he escapes, he will be able to investigate further and finally prove his innocence.

Escape Prison is filled with a lot of suspense as you study your surroundings and make the most of what you find. It also increases your quick and creative thinking as you must communicate with other prisoners in hopes that they will help you out. You can reach out to other prisoners to try and figure out what they want or need and see if they can help you solve the many puzzles you find.

Unlock Hidden Clues, Codes, and Routes 

As you study your cell and the rest of the prison, you will find hidden clues and objects such as a wrench, a towel, and even a spray can. You can use these objects separately or combine them to help maneuver your way around the facility. At some point, you will find yourself making a make-shift battery out of a bunch of unlikely objects to power on a dead flashlight. 

Sneaking around and out of such a heavily guarded facility is no easy feat, and as such, your tasks will include shutting down the power system so that you can find your way out. To do this, you are faced with yet another set of challenging puzzles that you must complete to turn off the power grid. After you figure this out, you are free to roam around the tunnels without worrying about the surveillance cameras. 

As you continue through the stages, you keep encountering puzzles and challenges along the way, including a dangerous, ugly rat and a feral tunnel cat. With your make-shift flashlight in hand, you navigate your way through the dark tunnels and out of prison.  With the help of another fellow prisoner, you discover that a prison guard has hidden a key somewhere that could help you escape. 

More poking around reveals that you need to scale the high fences. You must then set to making some more make-shift gear that can help you climb the fence and get out. More puzzles are presented to you, and eventually, you can move on to the next level when you find your way out.
