Landlord Go is an online simulation game that is based on real life. The goal of this game is to make money by managing rental properties. The game is the first of its kind, and it has been designed for people who do not want to go into the real estate business but still want to experience all the fun of owning a property. It is also a game for people already in the real estate business and wants to take their real estate skills to the next level. Landlord Go was developed by Reality Games Ltd. and has quickly become every gamers’ favorite, myself included.

A Game of Monopoly Has Never Been Better

Landlord Go provides players with the opportunity to play a game of Monopoly in real life. The game is based on buying, selling, and renting properties wherever you want. You can purchase properties, make repairs, and rent out the properties to tenants. To increase your income, you can also invest in stocks or other investment vehicles like bonds or mutual funds. You can either sell your properties to the bank or sell them to other players at the marketplace.

Get Ready to Join the Ever Competitive Bidding War

When playing Landlord Go for the first time, you begin by choosing your avatar, which consists of a personalized animation that you can choose depending on your preference. This avatar represents you within the game. Once that’s done, you are then given £2000 to start with and are tasked with buying as many properties as possible to win. The plan is to buy them all. Get read,y though. Your competitors are out for the same properties…  May the best tycoon win!

To play Landlord Go, you start with a small empty lot and hire an agent to find tenants. You need to maintain your income at all times by making sure rent is collected from the tenants in good time and happy in their housing. You can expand your business by buying additional properties and hiring more agents. You can also buy furniture for your properties or upgrade them with better appliances or other goods to improve their rating and attract higher-paying tenants.

Simple, Yet Powerful Features

As far as features go, Landlord Go is simply all about buying and selling properties. Some properties can be upgraded to get more rent. It’s like remodeling a house to increase its value. This simulation game is perfect for people who hate playing games for long hours at a time. You won’t get bored playing it since it doesn’t take long to finish a session.

Landlord Go features real data from over 500 million properties across the globe. The developers used satellite images provided by NASA in their game design. The developers went further to divide the world into ten billion units to mark individual properties. What surprised me the most was that they were able to gain accurate knowledge of each property, including the height, size, and location, with the help of their proprietary AI.

Boosting Your Achievements with Coins

Although Landlord Go is free to play, the game is usually slow when you fail to buy coins. The coins are used for different purposes while playing the game. You use it to speed up different processes, and it is useful for buying property upgrades and buying special venues (landmarks that can only be bought using coins). If you have enough coins, you can also trade them for cash to buy properties when you are low on cash. Since you can’t manage your properties while you’re offline, the game provides an assistant that will help you oversee your investments until you are back online. The assistant is not free (obviously), as you’ll need to spend some money to buy the assistant.

Exploring Your Options From The Tab

Agent Tab

In the Agent tab, you can find properties around you. You must enable ‘location services’ to see them. You can buy a property by tapping on it in the Agent’s section of the app and selecting shares. After you purchase a share, there will, of course, be some paperwork.

Portfolio

The portfolio tab shows all your properties. Tap on a property to view it, and then tap on ‘sell’ to sell it whenever you feel like doing so. Be sure to review the profit and value values before selling. You can also buy upgrades, but you’ll need coins for that.

Dashboard

You will see the value of all properties under the ‘dashboard’ tab. The tab will also display the amount of rent they have accrued under “available for collection.” The tab also has a special skills section, where you can perform different acts like increasing rent, lowering property costs, reducing paperwork time, and hiring more lawyers to enable multiple property purchases.

Auction

In the auction tab, you can bid on the most expensive and best properties from across the globe at attractive prices. You should note that you are competing against other players for the properties. Hence, another player might offer a higher bid than yours. Ultimately, the highest bidder will receive the property once the time runs out.

Conclusion

Landlord Go is a fun, addictive and challenging game that will keep you hooked for a long time. The game was designed to train players on property management basics by building their own business from scratch. With the right strategy and bidding attitude, there is no limitation to what you can own! You can choose to buy the coffee shop downtown, or acquire the Sydney Opera House, or a 5-star AAA hotel in Las Vegas.
