It’s not all about cookies and cute sweaters with this granny. It’s about escape and survival! Granny 3 brings more horror to the table. Granny 3 was published and developed by DVapps AB. It is the third game in the DVloper’s Granny series. Granny 3 is available for download on iOS, Android, and Windows devices. 

Exploring Grandma and Grandpa’s New Home.

Grandma and grandpa now own a new home, which is creepier than ever. You will find them walking around the house at the most unexpected moments, and they are always ready to attack. The slightest disturbance infuriates them; hence you must keep things quiet if you don’t want your head chopped off. Although they’re quite old and look weak, don’t be fooled, they never miss their target. Granny 3 begins with you waking up to find yourself imprisoned in your granny’s home. You’re locked in with no escape, and you can only rely on your instincts and ability to think fast to get you out. Take note that you can get recaptured by granny if you fail to achieve your goals. Besides, time is running out. You’ve got only 5 days to escape this creepy home. If you run out of time before escaping, you will have to start the game over. 

Granny 3 is a game that is designed to provide players with an engaging experience. The game exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, design, and playability. The player is caught in an evil granny’s house and plans an escape from the house. You get to solve different puzzles while indulging in a classic arcade-like gaming experience. Granny 3 is an escape room game where you get to solve puzzles and mystery clues to get out of the house from the evil claws of your granny. The gameplay consists of exploring large rooms, searching for clues, solving puzzles, and avoiding Granny’s traps which will kill you if you get close enough. There is no combat involved, and only one weapon (grandpa’s gun). You must do all it takes to avoid being killed by Granny’s traps.

Choosing From the List of Antagonists 

Before you start playing Grandma 3, you can click on the menu bar to select a difficulty level and enemies. The enemies available to choose from are grandma, grandpa, and Slendrina. You can choose only grandma, only grandpa, grandma and grandpa, grandma and Slendrina, grandpa and Slendrina, or all three enemies. Dealing with all the enemies simultaneously is a bit challenging and maybe impossible for beginners. If you’re playing Granny for the first time (especially if you haven’t played other games in the series), you should start with a single enemy. Grandma is ruthless, grandpa now owns a shotgun, and Slendrina brings on more challenges. 

Creepy Home, Creepy Atmosphere, and Creepy Sounds 

Granny 3 has a somewhat spooky atmosphere which is scary and unnatural. The environment doesn’t have any restrictions once you break out of the cell as you can go anywhere as long as you aren’t caught. As Granny 3 progresses, many unexpected things will happen, but you shouldn’t let them distract you. To defend yourself, you must shoot or chop off their heads; otherwise, they will destroy you. Items around the hose are just as scary as the house owners, and you must be careful to avoid touching the wrong things. 

Very Old, But Very Capable 

Apart from grandma and grandpa’s skills at hitting their target, they have really good hearings. The slightest noise will alert them of your presence; hence you must stay quiet. Staying quiet is not an easy task in granny’s house, as there are so many traps and the floors creak a lot. Grandpa owns a shotgun and has a really good aim. You don’t want him to notice you. He targets everything that moves, which makes you a target. 

While grandpa and grandma are forces to reckon with, you can’t ignore Slendrina, granny’s granddaughter. She makes the hostage more difficult, and you must avoid her as much as you avoid grandma and grandpa. One thing I learned while playing Granny 3 is that you should never get tempted to fight granny face to face. It does not combat, and she always wins. Instead of fighting grandma or grandpa, hide wherever possible, including under the bed, the closet, the cabinet, etc. Winning and escaping Granny 3 requires patience and deep thinking. To win, you must always be careful and think deeply before making any moves. 

Solving Puzzles to Figure Out an Escape 

Granny 3 is a single-player puzzle game where players move around granny’s home to find an escape. The game’s objective is to get out of the house by sliding blocks and using items such as keys, buttons, and teleporters. There are three different modes: Adventure, Puzzle, and Target Training. In adventure mode, the player must solve puzzles and find keys that will unlock doors leading to the next level; puzzles are solved by combining blocks that correspond with the color on their surface; in Target Training mode, players must shoot at targets but avoid obstacles such as colored walls and moving blocks. 

In Granny 3, players must find items from a list of hidden objects in a scene. In each level, the player is given the list of objects to find, and then they must find those objects from the scene. The levels start easy with one or two items to find, but as they progress, it can become more difficult with up to ten items to find.

Conclusion 

Overall, this video game can be an interactive experience for people who want to play something different from time to time. The graphics are pretty nice for an indie point-and-click adventure game. It has a satisfying pixel art style with a cartoonish feel which fits well with its genre. Granny 3 is, however, not suitable for people who can’t tolerate mild violence or horror.
