Angry Birds is a racing game created by Rovio Entertainment Extient Entertainment. The game was first released for Android and iOS on 15th November 2013. It quickly became a commercial success and has been downloaded more than 100 million times. Angry Birds Go! available for eight different platforms and in 19 languages. It has been downloaded over 25 million times on Google Play and is played more than 3 million times a day. Angry Birds Go is the 8th game in the Angry Birds series.

The game’s goal is to win different races by launching the race kart. You get to play against other birds and pigs.

The point of each stage is to eliminate all the pigs on screen. To do so, players use a collection of different birds with unique abilities. The powers include super high jumps, blowing up stuff, cutting through objects, flying over obstacles, and smashing off obstacles.

Racing is Fun With Angry Birds Go!

To begin racing alongside other birds, you need to drag the kart backward from a long flip. Ensure that you keep your hands on the flip until you see the text “GO!” on your mobile phone screen. Note that when released early, your opponents will automatically launch early as well. However, your kart will be forced to spin, which will eventually delay you.

During the race, you can collect the coins lined up on the track by driving over them. Different game characters have unique special powers you can use to your advantage while racing. The special power you get depends solely on the bird or pig character you select. After collecting the coins from the race, they will get charged up and converted to gems.

The gems will then be ready to be used in the next three races. When playing the game, I noticed no laps or milestones in the game. Every race utilizes a single energy unit. The units are represented by some tiny cupcakes displayed on the screen. The exhausted energy unit will gradually replace itself until it is filled up.

Different Types of Races to Choose From

Each racecourse has different races and different objectives. Some of the race types are as follows.

Race

In this type of race, players are made to run against seven other players. Your aim in this race is to ensure that your character reaches the finish line before your opponents. The race is straightforward, but it requires a level of commitment to complete.

Time Boom

Time boom is a one-person race where players are made to race against a timer. The time boom race helps players to improve their speed. You aim to reach the finish line before the timer eventually runs out, but you must take note of the obstacles aimed at delaying you.

Fruit Splat

You can play the fruit splat in one of two ways. You either play alone, or you play against two opponents. As the name implies, the game aims to hit a particular number of fruits. There is a fruit meter that runs slowly during a race. Once the meter runs out, every fruit on the track will eventually turn to coins.

Ice Splat

The ice splat race is similar to the fruit splat, but it runs on the sub-zero racecourse. The same rules and objectives apply to ice splat. However, instead of hitting fruits, you get to hit frozen sweets like ice cream or sandwiches.

Versus

In the versus course, you get to play against an opponent. There are three difficulty levels in this course; easy, medium, and hard. Select the levels based on your level of experience. The level you choose, however, determines how many coins you earn at the end of the game.

Champion Chase

The champion chase race is played against different racers. You will play against one racer at a time. After you defeat a racer up to three times, a new racer will be unlocked.

Slalom

The shalom race is only available in weekly tournaments or sub-zero courses. Your aim in the shalom race is to drive through some gates several times. You get five TNT crates after every gate you cross.
