If you’re searching for an explorative game that is all action and no combat, you will love Sable. You can download Sable from MG Store, Microsoft Store, App Store, Google Play, and HTML5 Play. The action-adventure music game was published by Raw Fury and was developed by Shedworks. The game was released on 14th October 2021. Sable is available on Windows, Xbox One, Series X and S,  platforms.

Freedom to Play

Sable is an open-world game that is based on adventure and exploration. There is no form of combat in the game, as it is based entirely on puzzle-solving and discovery. Unlike most AAA games, Sable lets you soak at the moment as you explore the game’s world. When playing Sable, you have the liberty to explore the world at your pace. You don’t have to worry about losing your way since the game gives you hints to guide you. Sable is one of the most liberal open-world games I’ve played this year.

Enjoy the Views As You Explore the New World

Sable reminds me of Zelda: Breath of the Wild because both games have similar introspective gameplay. Sable’s design and the pacing are, however, unique in a good way. If you need a genuinely explorative game, you should consider playing Sable. You will find many exciting side-quests, but not too much to keep you from exploring the world.

There are so many incredible views, and the characters are very interesting. You can never grow bored when communicating with locals during your expedition. While you embark on your main quest, you will find many other minor quests which usually involve helping out locals in the area.

Amazing Designs and Graphics

The game’s art design and graphics look like the environment was drafted out of a 70s movie. While you cruise the beautiful desert planet, you will find many abandoned spaceship wrecks that hold more fascinations than you can imagine. Sable was designed with vibrant colors that capture the beauty and wonders of the desert planet. You can easily get lost in this new world by simply looking at the environment.

When playing Sable, give in to your curiosity to get the best of your exploration. You get to find your way on an unknown planet with minimal intervention by the game system. During the day, the planet’s sand shines under the sun. The stars shine brightly at night. There are so many beautiful hills and mountains. When exploring the landscape for masks, you’ll find different helpful items and characters.

A Coming of Age Story

Sable is an open-world video game that tells the story of Sable, a lady who left her home for the Gliding ritual. The ritual is a pilgrimage young women coming of age undertake to find their place in the universe. They go solo on the pilgrimage to undertake a given quest. Help Sable explore the lands, solve puzzles, and get to know the people and features of the planet. Sable gets to stroll through the desert, searching for some masks that would enable her to get an adult identity.

Although Sable doesn’t have an extensive storyline, the gameplay is one-of-a-kind. It makes up for what’s lacking in the story. Sable is one game that makes people addicted after playing for just a few minutes. You will enjoy every second spent with the non-player characters, as they are fascinating and funny. My favorite character is Jadi, whose care and concern always lift my spirits. The non-player characters also have emotional and inspiring stories that keep Sable going.

How to Collect Different Masks During Your Quest

To collect masks during the quest, players will need some badges, which can be gotten by completing short missions. The missions vary from very simple to slightly more complex missions. A mission requires players to scare some Hercules beetles to make them pass out feces used as fertilizers. Another short quest is to meet other characters on their Gliding quests after climbing the ‘bridge of the betrayed.’ Generally, the quests in Sable aren’t too tricky, but they are quite engaging and perfect for open-world games. It also has fantastic gameplay.

The puzzles in Stable aren’t too difficult to solve. The puzzle requirements include connecting the power supply to some abandoned spaceships. Some of the tasks you can complete include climbing heights, observing certain behaviors, interacting with different people, etc.

Exploring the Desert Planet with the HoverBike

The hoverbike is Sable’s primary mode of transportation. You can glide across different areas where you get to feel the wind in your hair. To own a hoverbike, you can purchase different hoverbike parts from vendors in various settlements. Gather and mix these parts to create a new bike. Once your bike is ready, you can take it out and explore the lands. While fixing my bike with the machinist, I learned a lot about the clan’s history and love for technology.

Home At Last!

Just as it was at the beginning of the game, Sable is back home with friends and family. The fun doesn’t concentrate on the outcome of your final choice of the players but instead celebrates the quest’s success.  Although she is now at home, Sable is free to go out on more expenditures.

Conclusion

Who said you need combat to enjoy a video game? Sable has proven that video games are pretty enjoyable, even if all you have to do is go on a quest and solve puzzles. Overall, Sable is quite fun to play, and the game is recommended to people of all ages. If you love mysteries, nature, and adventure, or if you simply want a good game time, you will love Sable.
