The game was developed by Codemasters Studios Birmingham and published by Codemasters. It was released in November 2020 and can be played on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox X/S series, and Stadia. 

Multiple Game modes at Your Fingertips 

There are several game modes in Dirt 5, including single-player modes, Multiplayer options (i.e., PvP), and Career mode. These game modes are subdivided into multiple game modes. Each one offers a different challenge, and each mode has different features to suit different players’ needs. The game can be played with up to 24 players online in multiplayer mode, in different types of racing competitions like rally sprints or checkpoint races.

In contrast, rallycross takes place in closed arenas with specialized race tracks of dirt and tarmac. The best part about both modes is that you can choose from more than 50 different drivers representing 20 countries across six continents. You also control how they’re outfitted, including their style and color scheme. You can even change their gender if it suits your preferences!

Road to Glory (Career Mode) 

When playing in the Road to Glory mode, you start your career with virtually no budget. To progress, you must play well and win multiple races. Otherwise, you will risk going broke and being forced out of racing completely. Road to Glory focuses on a steady progression from karts to supercars with realistic upgrades. These upgrades will help keep both your bank account and car up-to-date, as far as possible. The career mode features events like the Gymkhana stunt mode and the rugged pathfinder mode. 

Dirt 5 Latest Game Features 

In DiRT 5, Codemasters brings back a lot of stuff from previous titles (like driving instructor Neil Cole’s voice) while adding new content that makes it feel like more than just a rehash. Just like other titles in the series, DiRT 5 comes with five different game modes to let you tailor your racing experience to what you want.
