Ben 10: Power Trip is the latest game in the Ben 10 series. Power Trip is an action-adventure game with some RPG elements tossed in for good measure. In the show, Ben Tennyson is a 10-year-old boy who acquires a watch-like alien device called the Omnitrix that allows him to transform into an array of powerful alien creatures. With the help of his Grandpa Max and cousin Gwen, he defends earth against alien invaders. While balancing his normal life with his adventures in space, Ben takes on dangerous enemies to save Earth from destruction. You play as Ben Tennyson, who has access to many different aliens’ powers. Unlike other Ben 10 games, Power Trip gives Ben only eight characters instead of the usual ten characters in the movies. The reduction in the number of alien characters doesn’t affect the gameplay since the game is still as interesting as ever. The game starts with a boss battle against an evil tyrant, followed by many levels with puzzles and enemies that Ben can use his power on.

Easy but Intriguing Gameplay

The gameplay of Ben 10: Power Trip is simple and easy to follow. There are a total of 5 worlds for you to play through. Each world has a set of levels that get progressively more difficult as you go. Ben 10: Power Trip also has many levels with fun boss battles and mini-games. The controls are simple to learn and only require one hand so that gamers can switch between worlds with ease.

You must collect enough orbs to advance to the next level in each level. There are also enemies for you to fight, which will either be defeated by using your current alien power or by running into them while in your vehicle mode. Ben can absorb different aliens’ powers which come in handy when fighting enemies and solving puzzles.

There is no penalty for dying or respawning, but each level has a time limit that slowly ticks down the longer it takes to complete it. This means that if you die, all progress will be lost, and you’ll have to start from the beginning again. Overall, Ben 10: Power Trip gameplay is not too difficult. But if you want a challenge, you can always change the settings to be more difficult.

The game also has mini-games that appear randomly throughout levels which function like puzzles in other endless runners such as Temple Run or Subway Surfers. These mini-games involve pushing crates into place, turning switches on/off, hitting buttons to create bridges, or otherwise opening up new paths for Ben’s vehicle mode.

The controls are very simple. Players can use one finger to move Ben 10 left and right. The other finger is used to tap the screen to make Ben 10 jump. Some levels also require players to swipe up or down to dodge obstacles or pull levers.
