As someone who loves point-and-click adventure games, I was excited to join the League of Broken Age players finally. Broken Age was initially released in two acts, with the full version following shortly after. The latest update came out in 2015 and added support for more languages and some bug fixes, adding to the amazing experience of the game.

The story of Broken Age is a captivating and charming one as it follows the intertwining stories of two protagonists, Vella and Shay, who live in very different worlds but are both struggling against the same mysterious force that threatens their respective homes. Vella is a young girl from a village chosen to be sacrificed to a giant monster called Mog Chothra. However, Vella is not content to be sacrificed and sets out on a quest to defeat Mog Chothra and save her village. Along the way, she meets a cast of lovable characters who help her on her journey.

Shay, on the other hand, is a young boy who lives on a spaceship with a group of overprotective robots who are intent on keeping him safe. However, Shay yearns for adventure and sets out to explore the galaxy, eventually discovering the truth behind his supposed “missions” and the true nature of his existence. As the game progresses, the stories of Vella and Shay become more intertwined, and it becomes clear that they are both fighting against the same mysterious force. 

The game’s story is full of twists and turns, and I was constantly surprised and delighted by the story’s direction. Broken Age is a gem of a game that I thoroughly enjoyed playing. The game’s stunning graphics, reflexive interface, and engaging gameplay make it a standout in the adventure game genre.

The interface of Broken Age is simple and intuitive, making it easy to navigate the game’s immersive world.
