As one who loves cooking, business games that involves cooking and delicious food always catch my attention. I get to hone my skills and it thrills me a lot. In a game like Happy’s Humble Burger Farm, I get to manage a business as a chef and control everything that goes on there. Developed by Scythe Dev Team, Happy’s Humble Burger Farm is a simulation game that allows players to run the night shift at a burger restaurant. Available on Windows PC, the game was released in December 2021 and received its latest update in January 2022.

An Adventurous Night Shift Experience

In Happy’s Humble Burger Farm, you are hired as a cook in a restaurant in New Elysian City. In the game, you get to experience what it’s like to work in a fast-food restaurant in the dark and dreary New Elysian City. As an employee, it’s your responsibility to fulfill customers’ orders, which usually involves building a specific sandwich they want. As you progress through the game, the number of tasks you have to keep track of increases. You’ll have to add nuggets, pies, drinks, and more to customers’ orders.

You’ll even have to complete emergency jobs, like taking out the trash or catching a rat in the restaurant. It’s important to do everything correctly because if you mess up too many times, Happy the Humble Heifer, the restaurant’s mascot, will get angry and attack you. Happy can only move when you’re not looking, so you’ll have to be careful. The only way to calm her down is to prepare a rotten hamburger. This makes the game very intense and scary, especially when Happy attacks! Yeah, you really shouldn’t make Happy angry.

Varied Burger Recipes

Another feature that I loved about Happy’s Humble Burger Farm was the variety of burger recipes available. There were so many different options to choose from, each with its unique ingredients and flavors. I enjoyed experimenting with different recipes and finding new combinations that my customers would love. It kept the gameplay fresh and exciting, and it also allowed me to put my spin on the classic burger.

Soon, as a cook, you’ll realise that every tool in your kitchen is very important and needed. As you progress, you will need to use everything to your advantage, as only you are left in the dark.

There’s More to the City than Your Burger Farm

In the game, you can explore the city when you’re not working for a small amount of money. The city is dark and strange, and you have to figure out what’s going on. As you explore, you’ll encounter weird versions of the Burger Farm restaurant. You’ll have to fight these strange bosses by making their burgers. One boss, Patrick the Portly Pig, is particularly annoying. You have to avoid exploding mannequin people while making him three sandwiches. These parts of the game aren’t as good as the rest, which is about being a fast food worker. They’re just okay, not great.

What I liked most about the game’s story was how it showed the importance of hard work and dedication. If you are not careful, you might be standing right next to your adversary. You just need to be on your toes. And I feel it buttressed everything about life. A little mistake can cost you everything. The story depicts the reality of the darkness of this world. Sometimes, we come to the crossroads of our lives where we don’t know what to do, we are trapped in a corner, locked in an abyss, but our choices and decisions can get us out of it.

Gameplay that Tells the Story of Danger, Catering, and Adventure

This to me, is the major theme of the game. The danger is the main plot. At night, you must deal with the danger of enduring every ordeal that befalls you. You have to protect the restaurant, and not only that, protect your life too. The game requires you to avoid danger and navigate through the dark. As a chef, you also have to avoid the danger of not meeting your order target. All these include the features of this masterpiece. As I played through, I was in suspense, not knowing what would happen next, and hoping that I get to last all through the night.

Another aspect of the game that I enjoy is the challenge. Happy’s Humble Burger Farm isn’t just a mindless click-fest. It requires strategy, planning, and careful management to succeed. I loved the feeling of having to think on my feet and make quick decisions to keep the restaurant running smoothly. Of course, there’s also the sheer fun of it all. Happy’s Humble Burger Farm is a cheerful, lighthearted game that always makes me smile. Whether I’m serving up burgers to happy customers or chasing down a pesky rat, there’s never a dull moment in the game.

The Graphics And Interface Of The Game are Incredible

The game’s bright and eye-catching graphics, bold colors, and charming character design that make me smile whenever I play it. The interface of the game was also well-designed, with easy-to-navigate menus and clear indicators for each task. I appreciated how intuitive the game was, even for someone who had never played a restaurant management game before. One of my favorite things about the graphics and interface was the attention to detail.

From the sizzling burgers on the grill to the customers’ expressions as they ate their meals, everything felt incredibly realistic and beautiful. I also enjoyed how the graphics and interface evolved as I progressed through the game. As I upgraded my restaurant and unlocked new features, the graphics became more elaborate, and the interface became more complex. It was a satisfying feeling to see my progress reflected in the game’s visuals.

Conclusion

Happy’s Humble Burger Farm is a fun and addictive game that’s perfect for fans of simulation games. The unique concept, charming art style, and engaging gameplay make it a treat. If you’re looking for a fun, casual game to pass the time, Happy’s Humble Burger Farm is definitely worth checking out.
