The game is a 3D massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) and is packed with thrills and action all through. Blades and Rings is an advanced role-playing game that is sure to keep payers on their feet. The game was published by 37 Games and was released in December 2016. Blades and Rings can be played on all Android and iOS devices.

A Connected Storyline

Blades and Rings is about fighting off some powerful and demonic enemies to drive them off the face of the earth. Earth has some unwanted and troublesome visitors – demons from hell. The demons, who were awakened by Spiritus, have a sole purpose to bring as much destruction as possible to the earth.

To bring the earth back to its peaceful state, you as the ring bearer will be made to undertake different adventurous missions which include venturing into dangerous dungeons, participating in boss fights, etc. The fate of the earth is in your hands, and strength, courage, and determination will help you rid the world of the demons who have come to inhabit the world.

To defeat the demons, you must reunite some powerful rings, which are 27 in number. The rings are located in different kingdoms whose inhabitants include elves, gnomes, dwarfs, etc. You must travel to all the kingdoms to recover the rings.

Imbibed in these rings is the power to defeat and banish the demons. If you succeed in reuniting all 27 rings, the demons will be driven from earth, and peace will reign once again throughout the lands.

How to Play the Game

Before you begin playing the game, you must select your character which could either be a male or female. Blades and Rings also you to create more than one character. The characters in the game are based on three classes, which are a mage, warrior, and archer, no matter the character you have chosen, you will be given a ward and a mount that will be your companion throughout the game.

The game enables auto-combat and auto pathing which would enable you to level up quickly during the game even when you are offline. You can also activate the ‘divine form’ combat system which will give you a sort of godlike form.

To level up, you must undertake different quests and missions. To make things more exciting, you can unlock additional quests which will enable you to gain different rewards. You can undertake different bounty quests, try out the score trial challenge, or fight and kill the server bosses. You can also visit the demon abyss if you want to gain some experience points in the game.

Apart from fighting the demons, you can also enter into the different player to player tournaments and challenges by simply switching to the PvP mode. To fight in a group, you must sign up with a guild, which will enable you to participate in the different GvG wars. 

To participate in the fights and tournaments mentioned above, you will need a substantial amount of ‘combat powers’. Apart from the CP, you can also increase your stats or unlock different skills with the aid of runes. Runes can be gotten through different means in the game. There are so many armors and weapons you can equip yourself with, depending on your character and the nature of the quest to be undertaken.

My Blades and Rings Favorites

While playing Blades and Rings, there were several game features that simply couldn’t go unnoticed. It has advanced and admirable character customization that lets you develop your styles.

The game can also be played both online and offline, which means you can level up without having to come online. Blades and Rings has an advanced economic system (an open economy) that enables players to freely make transactions with each other in the open market. You can price and trade idle and re-acquired items, exchange currencies, and increase your coffers without limitations. 

As an online role-playing game, blades are quite competitive for players from around the world, some of the ways through which players can compete with each other include the national ports boom, 5v5 confrontation and matching, GvG fights, and carnival strikes. The graphics of the game are simply out of this world, and the sound effects and animation are wonderful. I love almost everything about the game, from the storyline to the plot, the gameplay, sounds, and visuals.

Glitches I Noticed in the Game

Apart from the glitches from the earlier version which is yet to be fixed, the latest version of the game also comes with a few glitches such as the issues with the language on tasks and the recharge store. The glitches mentioned above must be fixed as soon as possible to enable players to have a quality and unforgettable experience while playing the game. Some other aspects of the game I didn’t quite enjoy included the fact that the game operated a pay-to-win system.
