Have you ever wished to be the star of a mobile skateboarding game? True Axis’ non-character-based skateboard game makes it possible to play with your skateboard without controlling a game character. In True Skate, it’s just your fingers, your skateboard, and your imagination. True Skate was published and developed by True Axis. This simulation skateboarding game is available on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and Android devices.

A Game That Gives You All The Freedom

True Skate has an awesome touch-based physics that makes me feel like I’m playing with an actual skateboard. I was pretty impressed with the game’s control system, as I could do just about anything I wanted with the skateboard. When skateboarding on True Skate, your imagination is the limit to your skills and displays.

Straightforward Control and Gameplay

True Skate is very easy to understand and control. The gameplay is straightforward, with only a few missions. When controlling the skateboard, you can push by dragging your fingers on the ground. To move towards any direction, simply swipe left, right, upward, and downwards as the situation requires. To raise the skateboard, simply tap on the board’s tail—level off the board to perform an ollie. If you want to perform a kickflip, simply flick the side of your skateboard.

There are so many moves to make with your skateboard in True Skate. Some of the most popular moves include the fifty-fifty grind, the dark fifty-fifty, one-eighty frontside and backside, nose and dark slide, ollie, nollie, and a lot more. There is also the laser flip, three-sixty pop shove it, flip, hardflip, and three-sixty inward feel flip. Although learning these moves may seem tricky at first, it doesn’t take too long to master each move. All it takes is a little dedication and practice from you. To master the moves, try to be creative in combining several kicks and flips.

Graphics And Visuals to Remember

True Skate graphics is truly one-of-a-kind, with beautiful skate parks and amazing features. Some of the features of the skate park include stairs, shelves, and ledges, grind rails and bowls, half and quarter pipes, among other features that make skateboarding on True Skate an adventurous experience. The game’s camera provides a clear view of the environment, so you can easily see where you are going and if there is an obstacle to avoid. With the camera showing you all you need to know, you can easily navigate the park by manipulating your skateboard in breathtaking moves. The camera angle is set in a third-person format that makes it look like you’re behind the skateboard.

So Many Spots For So Many Tricks

True Skate has many spots that are perfect and tricks. There are so many rails and bowls. There is even a half-pipe that you can carry out amazing stunts. There are several start points in the park where you can begin missions or try new tricks. The start points also place you in a specific position when you hit the reset button. If you wish, you could simply create a session starting point which is helpful when trying to master new stunts.

Significant Buttons in True Skate

The available buttons in True Skate are the reset button, pause button, camera button, and rewind button. The reset button is used to start the game all over from a specific start point, while the rewind button enables you to go back to particular spots (not necessarily the start point). The pause button allows you to pause the game mid-action. The camera settings, on the other hand, let you adjust the way you view the skateboard while playing.

In-App Purchases Vs. In-Currency Purchases

Although True Skate is a free game, most of the best features and upgrades are only available through in-app purchases. Apart from using cash to purchase these features, you can also buy the contents using ‘True credits.’ To earn credit, complete missions, and make great moves. The only downside to in-currency purchase is that it takes a long time to accumulate the money needed to buy content.

Outstanding Features of True Skate

One feature I wish was included in True Skate is a replay function. It always feels great to save a game after pulling off a fantastic trick. If such a feature were available, it would be possible to save great moments to share on different social media platforms or show off your skills to friends. Thankfully, the rewind feature is present. The feature comes in handy when you want to retry a move or mission after making a mistake. However, there is no way to re-live previous games due to the absence of a replay feature. Hopefully, we’ll see this feature in future updates and releases.

The rewind feature is excellent for trying out and mastering new tricks. You could try out different tricks and flicks for the perfect move. If the trick doesn’t work out as planned, you can simply rewind the game and try a new trick. True Skate is not heavily mission-based and does not have a background story. This implies that you get to explore your skateboarding skills and creativity without too many distractions. The game provides the necessary tools but lets you do whatever you want.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a game that gives you the feeling and the exhilaration of real-life skateboarding, True Skates is for you. You can play for hours without getting tired or bored. Whether you are an expert snowboarder or an amateur, you’re sure to love True Skate. Even if you have never played with a real-life skateboard, you’ll still love the game. All ages can play true Skate.
