Aragami 2 improved on the previous series and tries better in building a more befitting narrative for the Aragami, the legend who has been summoned to save the people. The assassin character is further enhanced by improved skills and abilities that help the player explore the maps and complete the missions. Although Aragami 2 has just been released, the reception has been overwhelming. Especially for those who played Aragami 1, there are apparent improvements that Aragami 2 offers, making it one of the best action-adventure games of the second half of the year.
The Gameplay Of Aragmi 2
The gameplay of Aragami 2 is pretty simple. Aragami 2 is a third-person stealth video game that allows the player to play the role of an assassin. The assassin has the power to control the shadow. The player can join the shadow clan to fight the armies that invaded the city. Survival is hinged on not getting killed during combat while protecting your people. According to Aragami 2’s description, you are one of the last surviving shadow warriors of your kin which is the Aragami. You can control Shadow Essence, a mystical power that gives you the ability to control the shadows. The player uses this ability to carry out quests and assignments across the valley. The mission is to ensure the continued existence of the village and the protection of the lives and properties of the people. You must also fight off invader armies who held the people captive.
You can teleport to any area where the shadow is cast on the map, which reduces the Shadow Essence. Your objective for each chapter is to kill the enemies who make life unbearable for the valley people. There are different weapons and armors you can build for yourself. Aragami 2 also allows players to upgrade their skill levels. In Aragami 2, you can kill your enemies sing stealth mode without them noticing you, and you can ruthlessly attack head-on. As you explore, you can collect items that can boost your skills and perform different skills. Aragami 2 explores the adventure of a legendary figure of the people’s messiah. Your purpose for living is to protect your people and save the Valley.
Talk About Aragami 2 Adventure-Packed Into Actions
Players can notice many improvements in Aragami 2, especially in the way the story is being painted. Aragami 2 seeks to expand the adventure of the player and makes it more superhero-like. The adventure is something you would want to live for. What makes it even more fascinating is the actions packed into this adventurous story of a legend whose sole purpose of existence is to save his people. It is like the relationship between Batman and Gotham. The adventure is extended, and the actions are just unending. You can definitely be glued to Aragami 2 all day.
Aragami 2 Keeps Your Blood Pumping
Aragami 2 does not allow you to slack at any point. Just when you think you can rest, there you have guards gunning for you. Do not even get me started on the new addition, the priests. They can resurrect after killing them. I even discovered they could channel their consciousness to the guards to know when their allies are killed. There is no escaping these magicians. Just when I thought I had seen it all, there comes the ninjas who are nothing like but can do everything like you. Know that feeling of threat when your powers and skills are being used against you by some ninjas? There is no escape. You only have to struggle to be better than these enemies if you want to survive. You cannot stop what’s coming for you. Kill or be killed.
Improved Non-Lethal Mechanics
The non-lethal mechanics have been improved in Aragami 2. Unlike what you would see in some non-lethal games, Aragami 2 allows you to play the game with some form of non-violence philosophy. Although it also does not help you avoid the lethal combats and heartless killing machine you can become sometimes, it does sustain the philosophy that you do not have to be cruel to a cruel world. In other words, you may embrace the stealth mode often, which makes the killings look more like secret cleansing. I like using the stealth mode. It is safe and does not paint the situation like there is a rebellious group somewhere fighting the enemies. But it doesn’t mean I can’t get ruthless when I need to be.
Good Graphics
Aragami 2 has decent graphics that neither affect your game concentration nor fantasize an unreal representation of the environment. The good thing here is that the graphics and environmental representations are something you can relate to. All characters, places, and objects in Aragami 2 have a realistic outlook that allows the player to feel natural when playing. It is one of the things that made me love the game. Aragami 2 creates a natural world of action-adventure where you would want to live every time.
