Do you love animals? This game gives you a fantastic opportunity to own and run a zoo full of exciting animals. Zoo 2: Animal Park is a free-to-play browser game. The thrilling story, pace, fascinating characters, and numerous twists will keep you enchanted. Your objective is clear and straightforward: “give the animals a home.”

The game is replete with astonishing animations of the animal world. ZOO 2: Animal Park is an excellent blend of strategy and tycoon games. You get to achieve specific tasks by depending on your skillset and also get to transform a business.

The Story

The story begins with you receiving a letter of the devastating news of your great aunt’s death. Before her passing, she owned a beautiful zoo, which is now a complete shamble. The once-bubbling zoo is now a mess and ruining the atmosphere of the city. The mayor is not having any of it and has threatened to shut it down.

Your grandparents are too old to take care of it, and there’s no one else in the family who can. The job falls on you. Now, you have just 48 hours to clean up the mess and turn it into a home for the adorable animals.

There’s so much to do with such a tight deadline, but it’s the only time you have to save the zoo. You have to build fences, cleat paths, buy new animals, and decorate the garden. The zoo has to start attracting visitors like it used to.

Beyond trying to reinvent the zoo, you learn more about your animals and their world.

Gameplay

You have to stop the mayor from closing down the zoo, attract a sea of new visitors, and honor your late aunt’s memory while giving the lovely animals a place to call home.  In my first playthrough, these objectives kept ringing. There are different challenges I had to scale through in my quest to rebuild the zoo. While learning about the zoo’s captivating history, I had to immerse myself in the role of the zoo director.

With the zoological garden now looking like a desert, I had to plant trees, small bushes, and flowers. The enclosures for the animals needed some cleaning, so I had to scrub them. Feeding and taking care of the animals was another task I particularly enjoyed. You’ll surely get a lot of fun from that too if animals have a special place in your heart.

Moving items in the game is quite easy. Tap on the item and select the button with rotation arrows and arrow cross to kickstart the movement. Then drag the item to the location you want to place it. There’s a conveniently-placed button for rotating any item if you need to do so.

One of the most rewarding tasks in the game is buying animals for the zoo. To do that, you have to first build an enclosure for the animal. Since each animal type requires a select enclosure, each new animal presents a unique challenge. I initially made the mistake of building new cabinets just anywhere in the park. With more plays, I found out it’s best to build them close to the entrance so my visitors could see them.

Another riveting task is breeding new animals. Breeding two regular animals produces offspring levels at Level 2. On the other hand, breeding animals already on Level 2 gives you a Level 3 offspring. If you breed an animal of Level 3 and another on Level 4, their offspring will be Level 4, taking after the higher animal. The goal is to have a zoo that can attract the entire city and beyond and create a scintillating Animal Park for families to relax and have fun.

I was able to buy essential items for the zoo, like a trough, for my animal feeding. This item was incredibly useful in keeping my animals well-fed, even when I was offline. Over time, I was able to expand my zoo, which was a satisfying experience for me. It’s was pretty straightforward buying some pieces of land from Gilbert Grump, my zoo neighbor.

Setting up merchandise around the zoo was another feature I liked about this game. Selling food and souvenirs helped me rake in some rewards.

If you want to speed up things and buy expensive items, you might have to spend some real cash on Diamonds. Diamonds are the chief currency of the game for making purchases.

When you’re able to pull in high revenues, you wouldn’t have to bother with the threatening mayor or your criminal neighbor.

The Animal World

Aren’t animals just adorable? In ZOO 2: Animal Park, you have the luxury of complete animal-centered entertainment. Your visitors, too, have to be enchanted by your animals, although that depends on you. I realized that entertaining animals brought in more money to the zoo. The reason isn’t farfetched: when your guests leave happy, you attract more visitors.

However, making your visitors happy takes more than entertaining animals. Having standard facilities like toilets are also key to keeping them satisfied. Another way to keep your visitors smiling is to invest heavily in decorations.

Zoo 2: Animal Park Community

This game allows you to connect with other players. It was thrilling to join them in their gameplay and help them perform some chores. I earned lots of hearts for my effort. After collecting enough hearts, I received a chest of friendship containing many supplies.

My Verdict

Zoo 2: Animal Park is easily one of the most entertaining games I’ve played. Combining the task of building a business with caring for a variety of animals is exhilarating. If you need a game replete with engaging tasks, Zoo 2: Animal Park is a great option.
